Green Deal Home Improvement fund allows you to claim up to £5,600 to make your home more energy efficient.
The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) is a new incentive launched by the government. Available to households in England and Wales from 10 December 2014, the scheme aims to make homes more energy efficient. Unlike the Green Deal this fund allows homeowners carrying out energy efficiency improvements to receive money to offset the improvement costs.
Depending on your circumstances you could choose one or all of the offers below totaling up to £5,600.
Claim up to £1,000 for installing two energy saving improvements.
Claim up to £4,000 for installing Solid Wall Insulation. You could claim up to 67% of the costs for installing Solid Wall Insulation with up to a maximum of £4,000 available.
Plus, claim up to £500 for recent homebuyers. For homeowners who have bought their home in the last 12 months prior to application an additional bonus of up to £500 is available.
Plus, claim a GDAR refund of up to £100. You could also claim a refund of up to £100 for a Green Deal Assessment Report (GDAR) that is less than 24 months old.
